Bangladesh National Anthem - Amar Shonar Bangla Official আমার সোনার বাংলা

Amar Shonar Bangla was written and composed by the Bengali poet and Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore in 1905. The first ten lines of this song were adopted in 1972 as the Bangladeshi national anthem. Tagore also wrote the national anthem of India, making him the only person to have written anthems for two states. The song was written at the time of the partition of Bengal and was a plea for Bengali unity against the division of the then-province.
The word 'shonar' in the title can be literally translated as meaning 'made from gold', but the intention of the use of this word in the title of the song is to imply the colour of the land before harvest.
